Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you use All Free Tools (allfreetoolsonline.com) ("we", "us"), and how it is used. We have kept it as short and clear as we can.

1. Files and information you use in our tools

All of our tools — including the image, PDF, text, calculator, QR code and password tools — run entirely inside your web browser using your device's own processing power. When you choose an image or PDF, type text, or enter numbers into a calculator:

• the data is not uploaded to our servers or to anyone else;
• we cannot see, store or access it; and
• it is cleared from the page when you close or refresh it.

Results you download (such as a compressed image or merged PDF) are created on your device and saved directly to it. Passwords from the password generator are created on your device and are never transmitted or stored by us.

If you use the camera option in the QR code scanner, your browser asks for permission first. The video is analysed on your device only to find a QR code; it is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere, and the camera turns off as soon as a code is found or you stop it.

2. Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting and content delivery provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes technical information when your browser requests a page. This can include your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. This is used to deliver pages quickly, keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and fix errors. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

We do not currently use analytics cookies or tracking tools of our own. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in the future to understand which tools are most useful, we will update this policy.

3. Cookies and local storage

Our tools do not need cookies to work, and we do not set cookies of our own to track you. Third-party advertising partners may set cookies as described in the next section.

4. Advertising

To keep All Free Tools free, this site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
• If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. Ads may also be shown based on general factors such as the page content or your approximate location.

To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, where required by law.

5. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to improve the site, we don't add you to any mailing list, and we don't sell or share it. Please don't send us personal documents or sensitive information.

6. Children

All Free Tools is a general-audience website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Links to other websites

Our pages may link to other websites, and ads may lead to advertisers' sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please read their privacy policies.

8. Your rights

Because our tools don't send your files or inputs to us, we hold very little personal data about you — usually none at all. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your messages, in line with applicable laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For choices about advertising cookies, use the opt-out links in section 4.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new features. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
